Description:
The Ruger SP101 Standard in .357 Magnum features a 4.20-inch barrel, a small frame designed for strength, and a five-round capacity. Unlike the shorter-barreled "snubnose" versions, this model includes a full-length barrel underlug for improved balance and adjustable sights for increased accuracy, making it well-suited for field use or target shooting. Built with a solid stainless steel frame that lacks a side plate, providing extra strength and longevity. Features the patented Ruger transfer bar mechanism, which prevents the hammer from striking the firing pin unless the trigger is fully pulled. The cylinder locks into the frame at the front, rear, and bottom, ensuring positive alignment and reliable operation shot after shot. Comes with a cushioned rubber grip featuring an engraved wood insert; it has no exposed metal on the backstrap to help absorb recoil. Equipped with a green fiber-optic front sight and a windage- and elevation-adjustable rear sight. .357 Magnum
