Description:
The Taurus 605 is a compact, small-frame revolver chambered in .357 Magnum, though it is equally capable of firing .38 Special +P rounds. With its 2-inch barrel, it is primarily designed as a "snub-nose" concealed carry or backup firearm, balancing significant stopping power with a slim, five-shot profile. Checkered soft rubber grips with finger grooves designed to absorb the sharp recoil typical of magnum loads in a small frame. Equipped with a transfer bar mechanism that prevents the hammer from striking the firing pin unless the trigger is fully pulled. It also features the Taurus Security System (TSS), an integral key operated lock located on the hammer. .357 Magnum
