Description:
The Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk is a powerful single action revolver designed to handle the heavy recoil of the .44 Magnum while maintaining the classic feel of a traditional western-style firearm. This 7.5-inch barrel version is a standard in the lineup, frequently chosen for big-game hunting and long-range target shooting due to its increased sight radius and velocity. Unlike the standard Blackhawk, this model features a solid, unfluted cylinder that adds weight to help tame recoil and provides extra strength for high-pressure loads. Equipped with a squared-back trigger guard that provides more room for the shooter's knuckles, protecting them from the forces of heavy magnum recoil. Features a transfer bar mechanism and loading gate interlock that prevents the hammer from striking the firing pin unless the trigger is fully pulled, allowing for safe carry with all six chambers loaded. Cold Hammer-Forged Barrel provides ultra-precise rifling for exceptional accuracy and longevity, while also making the bore easier to clean. The rear sight is click adjustable for both windage and elevation, while the front sight is a fixed ramp type, allowing for precise shot placement at various distances.
