Description:
The Savage Model 99 lever-action rifle is chambered in .303 Savage and fitted with a 20-inch blued barrel. Manufactured in 1924, it includes the distinctive brass cartridge counter on the left side of the receiver. The rifle uses a case-colored lever and features a smooth straight-grip walnut stock paired with a matching forearm. A factory crescent-style steel buttplate completes the configuration.

The barrel is equipped with an adjustable rear sight. The bore condition is described as very good, showing clear rifling and a bright interior. Serial number 261537 is marked on the receiver, corresponding to the 1924 production year. This Model 99 is used and displays the traditional mechanical layout of the early Savage rotary-magazine design.

Included components consist of the rifle itself with its original wood furniture, 20-inch barrel, and fixed brass round counter. No additional accessories or packaging are specified. The combination of a blued barrel, case-colored lever, and brass counter reflects the configuration typical of Savage production from this period. C&R Okay.
