The Rossi Model 971 is a medium-frame, double-action/single-action (DA/SA) revolver chambered in .357 Magnum and .38 Special +P. This model is widely recognized for its robust steel construction and was originally manufactured in Brazil by Amadeo Rossi S.A. and imported by Interarms between 1989 and 1998. The 4-inch barrel configuration is favored for its balance between accuracy and manageable recoil, making it suitable for both self-defense and target shooting.
