"NSN. Manufactured circa 1880s, chambered in .577/450 Martini-Henry,32 ½"" round barrel. The bore is good with strong rifling noted throughout. The rifle’s only identifiable marking is Nepalese script on the trigger guard, typical of rifles held in Nepalese arsenals. The metal and wood remain in overall very good condition, showing honest service wear consistent with long-term storage and use. Nepalese-retained Martini-Henry rifles are often British or locally assembled variants that saw extended service well beyond their original period of issue. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
