"Serial no. 1811223. Manufactured circa 1970s at Factory 106, chambered in 7.62x39mm,20 ½"" round barrel. The bore is excellent with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers are matching. The left side of the receiver is import marked. The spike bayonet and cleaning rod have been removed. The stock remains in overall very good condition, showing light handling wear. Chinese Type 56 SKS carbines produced during the Cold War saw widespread service and export, known for their durability and reliability. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
