Description:
This is an original Swedish 1896 Mauser Bayonet which is unit marked and comes with the scabbard and the belt hanging frog. The excellent sharpened 8 ½" blade is bright and nick free marked 810 FJ anchor AB and manufactured by Eskilstuna Jernmanufactur AB (1899&1912). The guard is marked 120,762 and some that are hard to read. Handle is all metal and in very good condition. The scabbard is not matching numbered (IK3No 2324) but is in very good condition with no verdigris. The low hanging frog is in excellent condition with slight verdigris on the brass buckles. ;
