WINCHESTER MODEL 25 SLIDE ACTION SHOTGUN 12 GA SERIAL NUMBER; 20991. BARREL: 28". GAUGE: 12 GA. CHOKE: FULL. CHAMBER: 2 3/4". LOP: 14 1/4". DAC: 1 1/4". DAH: 2". MANUFACTURED: 1949. The Winchester Model 25 is a 12-gauge, solid-frame slide action shotgun produced from 1949 to 1954 as a more affordable alternative to the Model 12. It features a similar action to the Model 12 but lacks a take-down feature, is only available in 12-gauge, and was manufactured in limited numbers, leading to the nickname "the poor man's Model 12". This 25 comes with standard 28-inch barrels with a full choke and a Simmons Gun Specialties vent rib with a red fiber optic front sight. Whiteline waffle rubber butt pad installed as well. CONDITION: Very Good. This shot gun was reworked / reblued at some point. Bore is shiny and smooth. Barrel bluing is worn near mag clamp. 12 Gauge
