MAS Mle 1949-56 SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE WITH SCOPE Serial NUMBER: H30489. Barrel length 20 ". Caliber 7.62X51 REBARRELED at some point and stamped on the receiver. . Import stamped. Manufactured in France, the MAS-49/56 was mass-produced, attaining a total of 275,240 rifles issued between 1957 and 1978. It features a detachable box magazine, 3-piece hardwood stock set, flash suppressor, built in scope rail, matte arsenal finish and military sights. Comes with sling and slip on pad. The MAS-49 built-in rifle grenade launcher was replaced by a combination compensator/rifle grenade launcher that fired NATO-standard 22mm rifle grenades. Bayonet also included. This rifle remains in excellent condition with just usual light wear. Comes with an aftermarket Bushnell 3-9 x 44 scope and mount. Original bayonet is included. CONDITION: metal is 90% with light wear. Bore is bright and scope is clear. Wood is excellent and operates normally. .308/7.62mm
