US 1819 dated Bridgewater 69 caliber musket made by Rufus Perkins of Bridgewater, Massachusetts. The full length dark walnut Brown Bess style stock is held by 3 pins and is in very good condition. The 5 1/2 inch flintlock works at full covk and is marked Bridgewater 1819 with the Eagle and US markings. The Barrel is 42 inches and has a front sight and at the breach is marked RP (Rufus Perkins) and also dated 1819. The barrel and lock are Dark Brown. The Trigger guard, butt plate and barrel guides are brass with a brown patina. The original looking ramrod is present. Overall seems to be in very good condition.
