We are offering for sale a 1966 Winchester MODEL 88 magazine fed lever action rifle chambered in .308 Win caliber. This is a scarcer example with deluxe style checkering. The rifle remains in very good overall condition. The receiver and 22" barrel show very good bluing with minimal wear. The lever action functions flawlessly. Original OEM magazine is very good. The wood stock is good to very good with some light scattered field wear; Sling studs have been removed but the holes are there for replacement studs. "W" winchester grip cap is very good. Original plastic buttplate shows scattered wear.
