This absolutely stunning Browning Hi Power Olympian Grade 375 H&H is in excellent, used condition. I'd grade it in 99% condition. It was manufactured in Belgium in 1969 and both serial numbers on the barrel and receiver match.
The honey-colored walnut shows lovely feathering and dark fiddleback patterns. It features a Monte Carlo style cheek design, an exotic wood pistol grip and forend tip, a diamond initial plate within the pistol grip, and gorgeous scroll carving/checkering/stippling patterns. Ornamental crossbolts are located in the mag box area for reinforcement purposes. Overall, the stock shows very, very few minor handling marks, a tiny amount of lacquer wear at the buttpad, and retains its original integrity with no splits or cracks. What a piece of art!
Length of pull measures 13.5" with a 1" black Pachmayr decelerator. Master engraver LA Campo performed all hand-engraving on the rifle. The French greyed finish on the receiver and lower metal (both excellent) shows engravings of moose, elk, bear and cougar. Screw slots are excellent. The 24" barrel shows a traditional high-polished blued finish with scroll engraving on the chamber. It's in excellent condition. Bore is excellent. Rifle also features a gold trigger. Comes accessorized with a set of steel scope mounts and an original vintage Browning hard case.
Mechanically, this gun is in functional condition and test fired successfully. Per the owner, it has been fired less than 20 times. Does not come with the original box or paperwork.
