The Magnum Research BFR single-action revolver is chambered in .500 JRH and configured with a five-round cylinder and an 8?inch barrel. The frame, barrel, and cylinder are finished in stainless steel, and the revolver features black textured grips molded with the Magnum Research logo. The BFR series is built around a heavy-duty frame designed to handle large-caliber cartridges, and this model follows that pattern with a long barrel and robust construction suited for the .500 JRH cartridge.
This revolver is in new condition. It incorporates an adjustable rear sight paired with a fixed front blade for precise sight alignment.hortened version. The .500 JRH cartridge, developed by Jack R. Huntington, is a shortened version of the .500 S&W Magnum, designed for use in compact large-caliber revolvers such as this BFR. The single-action mechanism operates through a traditional hammer and loading gate system, consistent with the BFR design. The stainless finish provides corrosion resistance and contrasts with the black grip panels for a clean, functional appearance.
