Description:
The Loewe Argentino 1891 with a 22" barrel is a sporterized version of the original military rifle. Standard military configurations for the Mauser Modelo Argentino 1891 included either a full-length infantry rifle with a 29.13" barrel or a shorter carbine with a 17.6" barrel. The "Model 1938" name was a broad standardization effort by the Turkish military to convert diverse older Mauser models (like the 1893 and 1903) to a common 8mm standard.
