Description:
Phillip Reeb Double Rifle – 8×57J | Hofbüchsenmacher | Cased | Pre-WWI German Best
Offered is an exceptional Phillip Reeb double rifle in 8×57J, built during the golden age of German gunmaking (circa 1912–1916). Reeb held the prestigious designation of Hofbüchsenmacher (Best Maker to Royalty), and this rifle exemplifies that standard in both execution and preservation.
This rifle remains in original condition throughout, retaining its factory finishes, sharp details, and elegant proportions. Of particular note is the rare clamshell action, an uncommon and highly desirable feature even among best-quality German doubles.
