According to Mr. Larson ( the auther of the excellent M1 Carbine book ) this particular NPM rifle is a rare version ....the receiver being made by Union Switch and Signal as well as other observed particulars. The pictures explain it all..... The rifle is in excellent conditioin, and has been one of the best rifles in my collection.
