The W.W. Greener GP, or General Purpose, shotgun is a celebrated British design built upon the legendary Martini falling-block action, renowned for its simplicity & robust reliability. Originally manufactured in 1955, this model represents Greener’s legacy of producing a versatile and dependable firearm intended for the traditional field sportsman. This specific 12-gauge unit remains in solid field condition, with its hardwood stock and forend showing honest pressure marks and dings consistent with its history. The metalwork exhibits thinning and silvering on high edges along with a distinct brown patina on the lever and guard, though all markings and proof stamps remain sharp and legible. Featuring a 25-inch barrel and a 14¾-inch length of pull, the action locks up tight and functions with the mechanical precision typical of a vintage British single-shot.
