Original Mauser Oberndorf factory sporter. Single Square Bridge rifle made in 1934 in the awesome african caliber 9.3x62mm. The metric equivalent of the classic .375H&H! In the 20-30"s Mauser made a line of factory sporting rifles and actions which were sold all over the world. Actions went to the custom gunmakers in England, Rigby, Holland & Holland etc. and many classic custom makers in the US including Griffin & Howe. But Mauser marketed their own classic sporting rifles in many factory configurations. Square actions came out in the early 30's and are some of the most sort after of the Mauser sporters. This rifle is in excellent restored condition with super nice wood and excellant blue. Note the half round, half octogon barrel factory option with rib and folding rear leaf rear sights. Double set triggers, pear shaped bolt handle all classic factory sporter attributes. Original Mauser bone buttplate, R. Fischer, a well known German retailer coin in stock.
