Great opportunity to own a Rare Bullard Large Frame Repeating Rifle in 40/70. ser.no.1216, 28" round barrel , cresent butt plate, excellent bore. Only mfg. between 1883 and 1889 with a total production of about 3,000 rifles of which the large frame represented about 1,700. The receiver, lever, trigger, and hammer are casehardened. Has a three serration dust cover. An extractor removal hole is below address stamping. Rifle has extra quality wood, probably a special order. The round barrel with 3/4 magazine is rare. Has Winchester express front and Winchester sporting rear sights.
