From a Midwest sale, a Remington Rolling Block Mexican Army issue with original bayonet, 7mm ( 7×57mm Mauser) caliber. Very smooth and tight action with a strong hammer spring and good extractor. 28" round barrel with a dark bore. The action trigger and hammer function as they should and are very crisp. The receiver and barrel of the rifle are a grey patina (see photos). The barrel has a ladder style adjustable rear sight. The stock and forend are solid with no cracks or chips; however, there is a military number (205) and a small cross and set of initals caved in the stock there are also dents and dings on the wood from the last 100+ years. The stock is fitted with a steel, military style butt plate. Everything functions as it should and shows normal wear. The rifle appears to have been maintained and is in excellent condition for its age (see photos). Although it appears capable, I can not guarantee a rifle this old will shoot; therefore, I'm offering this rifle with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
