Description:
23 inch octagon barrel chambered in 22 S, L, or LR caliber with bore that has visible rifling and light roughness through out. Barrel and two-thirds magazine tube have toned to gray/brown patina overall with with high edge wear and handling marks. Original open sights include a blade front and V-notch rear. Nice crisp barrel address markings. Receiver is also a gray/brown patina with some buggered screws. Nice functioning action. Straight grip walnut stock with 9-groove forend are very good as been lightly sanded and a little shy at the wrist. 3 "Achievement" notches along the bottom of the stock. Crescent steel buttplate. These were made from 1907-1922.
