Description:
Melvin Johnson was the inventor and and his Johnson Automatics Arms Co. was the producer of the M1941 semi-auto rifle that saw limited use in WWII. Production of the M41 continued until 1949 when the assts of the company were purchased by Winchester. After that Melvin Johnson produced some bolt action rifles. This hard-to-find rifle is bult on a FN commercial Mauser 98 action. The action has been milled, and the magazine box lengthened to accept the long .300 H&H cartridge. It has a Bishop stock and an adjustable trigger. It should make a fine big game rifle. .300 H&H Magnum
