Caboth .35 Whelen Mauser Custom Dave Caboth, Alta, Iowa full custom Mauser DWM 1909 with a 24" Douglas Premium barrel with an island ramp frony sight with flip up moon sight, barrel attached sling eye, and quarter rib with one standing leaf. Receiver features include custom bases holding 30mm Talley rings, custom bolt handle with pear shaped knob, left sided two position safety which is more ergonomic for the right hand, FN button release botttom metal, and a Blackburn trigger. The front sight, quarter rib, floorplate, trigger guard, and grip cap with tasteful scroll engraving by FEGA member James White of Wasilla, Alaska. Stocked in a very nice piece of English Walnut with excellent color and contrast done in the English style with a pancake shadow line cheekpiece, rear English style sling eye, steel pistol grip cap, and ebony forend tip with widow's peak. Point pattern checkering with mullered border that wraps the forend by FEGA member Jesse Kaufman of Sturgis, S.D. This is just an outstanding piece done with the input of three very talented craftsmen. It remains new from the makers. .35 Whelen
