Description:
The Winchester Model 21 is perhaps one of the finest side by side shotguns ever designed. The guns made after 1940 were not built in sequence, so it is increasingly difficult to determine age of a receiver that is numbered higher than 10,400. This example, SN. 17244 was likely made in the mid 1940's, overall condition is very good, likely with some refinishing work, definitely on the stock, and possibly on the metal parts. There is some light corrosion and wear visible on the barrels and receiver, but nothing serious, the stocks show mild cabinet marks and have a replacement pad with extension.
