Description:
This is an uncommon find: a Browning "Morgan" over/under, sometimes known as the Browning Beretta Morgan Project gun. It was made in Italy by Pietro Beretta, primarily for the European market, but a small number were imported into the US. The collaboration took place in the mid-1980's and the serial number of this gun indicates production circa 1985. It uses Beretta style mechanics and the MobilChoke system but was marketed and sold as a Browning with the Morgan model name. They are well-regarded for fit and finish, and for their reliability. Essentially, it is a Beretta 680-series gun wearing the Browning brand. This particular example is in good shape overall. The wood has a couple of pretty good scuffs on it, and the blue finish is showing some light pitting that is difficult to capture in photos. The action is smooth and the bores are bright. There is no box or case included. 12 Gauge
