Winchester Model 71 Deluxe lever action rifle chambered in .348 Winchester. In production between 1935 and 1958 and is widely considered one of the finest lever-action rifles ever made. It was developed as a modernized replacement for the heavy Model 1886 and Model 1895, specifically designed to handle the high pressures of the then-new .348 Winchester cartridge. 1950 estimated year of production.
