"Serial no. 48023. Manufactured circa 1952–1956, chambered in 8mm Mauser,23 ½"" round barrel. The bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers are matching. The metal finish and stock remain in overall very good condition, showing light handling and storage impressions. The M48A represents a post-war Yugoslav refinement of the Mauser 98 pattern, featuring stamped components while retaining the strength and reliability of the original design. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
