This is the Colt Officer's Model Target Revolver that shipped from the factory in November 1937 to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Company in Chicago. In excellent condition the barrel, frame and cylinder retain virtually all, 98-99% of the original blue finish with a hint of wear at the muzzle and a very faint drag line on the cylinder. The Colt medallion checkered walnut grips are the correct pre-war type and are in near excellent condition with some slight wear to the points. It is sighted with the correct target rear square notch adjustable and front blade sights and is mechanically sound. It comes with a Colt Factory Letter. An excellent example of a scarce high condition heavy barrel target model. FFL or C&R SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
