Description:
The Smith & Wesson Model 27-2 is a double-action/single-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. It features a six-inch pinned barrel and a six-round capacity. The revolver is built on a steel frame with a blued finish and equipped with black rubber grips. The design includes a shrouded ejector rod and a serrated top strap along the frame and barrel rib, consistent with the Model 27 series configuration.
Factory details include a front partridge sight paired with a micro-click adjustable rear sight for precision alignment. The hammer and cylinder release are serrated for secure manipulation, and both the hammer and trigger display case coloring. This revolver is used, showing wear consistent with prior handling and firing. The bore condition is described as very good, with strong rifling visible. The metal surfaces retain a substantial portion of the original blued and case-colored finish, and the mechanical lockup remains tight during operation.
Grip panels are checkered black rubber Pachmayr replacements, providing a firm hold. The revolver bears serial number N326879. No additional accessories or packaging are included beyond the revolver itself. Overall configuration reflects the classic 6-inch barrel variant of the Model 27-2 in .357 Magnum with adjustable sights and a full steel construction.
