This "Eastern Carbine" was manufactured in 1951. It is in exceptionally good condition for a 75-year-old rifle. The wood is sound, the metal clean, and the operation smooth. The rifle is a great choice for a deer hunter who needs a light, agile, and powerful woods running tool for chasing deer. The rifle fairly defines the term "deer gun." .30-30 Winchester
