The Thompson Center Arms Encore is a single-shot break-action pistol chambered in 7mm-08 Remington. It features a 15-inch barrel with a blued steel finish and a one-round capacity. The frame is constructed of steel, paired with a walnut grip and matching forearm in a brown finish. This configuration provides the compact profile typical of the Encore series, designed for precision single-shot performance in a handgun format.
The pistol is used and retains a blued finish over its frame and barrel. The bore is described as very good, indicating clear rifling and sound interior condition. The action is the top-break type characteristic of the Encore design, allowing direct access to the chamber for loading and unloading. The walnut grip includes a capped smooth surface with three finger grooves, complementing the forearm for a consistent hold. There are couple of scuffs on the wood on the right side. Overall construction reflects Thompson Center’s steel-framed single-shot design, intended for interchangeable barrel systems within the Encore platform.
Included with the pistol is a scope mount installed on the barrel, ready to accept compatible optics. The serial number is 168739, located on the frame.
