Description:
24 inch octagon barrel. Original sporting sights. Full length tube magazine. Takedown frame. Plain walnut forearm with matching straight grip buttstock fit with crescent rifle buttplate. Barrel and magazine retain most original blue. Near excellent bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. The receiver shows some light pitting with only scant traces of finish with the balance a dull gray patina. Action is crisp and tight. The forearm is full fitting with a few handling marks and a couple hairline cracks on the right side. The buttstock is solid and full fitting with typical wear and handling marks. Manufactured in 1919.
