"Serial no. 9130-8570 (importer). Manufactured in 1940 at Tula Arsenal,chambered in 7.62x54R,29"" round barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers are matching. The left side of the receiver is import marked. The rifle has been post-war arsenal refurbished, a common practice for Soviet service rifles retained for storage and later reissue. The M91/30 served as the standard Soviet infantry rifle during WWII and remains one of the most recognizable military bolt-action rifles of the 20th century. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
