"Serial no. PF73668. Manufactured in 1949 at Royal Ordnance Factory Fazakerley ,chambered in .303 British,25"" round barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers are matching on the rifle, with the magazine non-matching. The rifle remains in overall very good condition, showing light handling and storage wear. Post-war production No.4 rifles from Fazakerley represent the final refinements of the Lee-Enfield service rifle, produced after WWII for continued British and Commonwealth use. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
