Tikka T3 – 300 Win Mag – 24" Barrel – Nikon Monarch 3.5-10x – Great Condition!
When you’re looking to shoot with MOA accuracy right out of the box without spending a ton of money, you’ll often look to a Tikka T3. When you want to really reach out and touch something at long distance and need a powerful, flat-shooting round, you’ll often look to 300 Win Mag. So, it stands to reason that a Tikka T3 chambered in 300 Win Mag would be a great choice for accurate long range shooting.
Our Tikka T3 wears serial number A40004. It has a 24 inch blued barrel with a muzzle brake already attached. The 300 Win Mag cartridge really does give you a lot of versatility to go along with the range that we mentioned. You have a wide variety of bullet weights that are also widely available where you can choose the round best suited for the game that you’re hunting. You have the ability to hunt everything from deer to the larges game on the North American continent. It’s a high velocity round with ability to shoot 500 yards and beyond with a flat trajectory and less bullet drop than a lot of other rounds. It’s just an all around good cartridge.
The Tikka T3 has not only a great reputation for accuracy but for very smooth action of the bolt. That’s certainly the case with ours. It feels great and cycles extremely easily. The trigger has a light, easy break that won’t pull you off target. The magazine is detachable and a two position safety sits just behind the bolt handle.
The synthetic stock is not fancy, but it’s not intended to be. It’s durable, tolerates weather and dirt and holds up well even with heavy use. A solid black rubber recoil pad sits at the end of the stock.
The rifle has a good, clean bore and a bright barrel with good rifling. The synthetic stock is in Excellent condition and shows just light use. The metal finish is Excellent – Near Mint with no issues to address.
One of the great things about this rifle is the Nikon Monarch UCC 3.5-10x scope that’s already mounted. If you go looking for just the scope, you’ll find prices ranging from $250 - $400. This scope is in Excellent cosmetic condition. The focus and magnification adjustments work exactly as they should. Windage and elevation are adjusted at the rate of 1 click = 1/4 MOA. The glass and reticle are clear and sharp. The scope, paired with this rifle makes a very attractive package.
