Description:
Smith & Wesson Model 57 American Bicentennial revolver chambered in .41 Magnum. This is a large-frame, double-action revolver with a six-round cylinder. The gun won favor with civilian target shooters and hunters. It was originally designed as a weapon for law enforcement agencies. It was introduced in April 1964. The model 57 is built on the same frame as the popular model 29. This nickel revolver has a 6-inch barrel, a red insert front sight with a white outline adjustable rear iron open sight, a target trigger, a target hammer, and oversized wooden target grips. It was manufactured in 1973. It is inscribed "United States of America/1776-1976/Bicentennial" on the right side of the frame. The condition is very good overall with original finish and light wear.
