This iconic rifle is a product of rifle evolution at Marlin starting back in the late 19th Century making it one of the earliest lever-action rimfire rifles. Its pedigree started as the Marlin Model 1891, then the Model 39 (1921) and finally the 39A in 1935. Throughout the process, the Marlin rimfire retained its basic design philosophy making it one of the longest continuously produced pieces in history. It's versatility in handling several variations of .22 rimfire ammunition and micro-groove barrel made it extremely popular for everything from target shooting to plinking to small game hunting. This is an iconic and historically significant firearm and this is a unique opportunity to own one of the most popular and accurate rimfires ever made. This Marlin 39A was manufactured in 1964 and is officially graded as Very Good Condition.
