Description:
This 1951 Belgium Browning Sweet Sixteen is a semi auto shotgun chambered in 16 gauge. This Browning has a 27.5" barrel with fixed "Full" choke and a "2 3/4" chamber. The front sight is a brass bead on a base. The top of the barrel is finely checkered and the top of the receiver serrated. The left side of the barrel is marked "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY ST LOUIS MO & MONTREAL P.Q." / "* SPECIAL STEEL-16 GAUGE - SHELLS 2 3/4". The left side of the receiver is marked "Sweet Sixteen / BROWNING" with a bust portrait of John M. Browning, the underside receiver has the serial number, "OS57721". The receiver is Grade I engraving. The stocks are a two-piece checkered walnut set with a round pistol grip, straight comb, hard rubber Browning / FN butt plate, and a finger groove forend. The gun appears unused, but my have been used a couple of times. No box. 16 Gauge

Wood Condition: About 97% remaining with light / minimal storage marks. Most of the marks are found at end of the stock. The butt plate shows some minor scraps and same chip around the top edge.
Bore Condition: Mirror bright.

Triggers: Single.
