Description:
This Remington Sportsman 48 is a reliable, lightweight long-recoil semi-automatic shotgun. It uses the Browning long-recoil system, meaning the entire barrel moves backward during cycling. It features a streamlined, modern (for its time) receiver compared to the older "humpback" Model 11. It includes a free-floating lifter, which allows easier loading, similar to the later Remington 870 and 1100. With the poly choke system this is a versatile tool for the outdoors. 16 Gauge
