"Serial no. KP7167. Manufactured in 1954 at Tula Arsenal, chambered in 7.62x39mm,20 ½"" round barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers are matching. The stock shows nicks, dings, and scratches consistent with service use, with a handsome cartouche still visible. Russian SKS carbines from Tula are among the earliest and most desirable variants of the pattern, representing original Soviet production prior to widespread foreign manufacture. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
