Classic Smith & Wesson Model 29-2 blued .44 Magnum revolver with 6.5" barrel, SN: #CYS2991, manufactured circa 1975-1977, pinned and recessed, with red Ramp front sight and fully adjustable white highlighted rear sight. Left side of barrel marked "SMITH & WESSON" with right side of barrel marked ".44 MAGNUM". S&W logo on sideplate with four-line manufacturer address block on right side of frame. Crane area marked "N754556" over "MOD 29-2". Checkered wooden Goncalo Alves grips with S&W medallions, the left panel with football recess. Introduced by Smith & Wesson in 1955 as the most powerful production handgun of its time, propelled to fame in 1971 by Clint Eastwood in the film Dirty Harry.
