Up for grabs... A stunning and special BROWNING BAR MKII SAFARI chambered in 30-06 Sprg. Introduced in 1993, Browning technically ceased manufacturing of the MKII SAFARI in 2016 with the advent of the BAR MKIII. The MKII was a significant improvement over the original Browning BAR with an improved gas (recoil) system, simplified trigger, and a re-designed bolt release lever. But the \"SAFARI\" version was an enhanced MKII with \"heirloom quality\" features. True to form, THIS Browning BAR MKII Safari is beautiful. Again, though, technically Browning ceased producing the MKII SAFARI in 2016. However, the serial number contains the \"YY\" date code indicating that THIS rifle was produced in 2022, one of the only LIMITED RUN editions AFTER Browning originally discontinued the MarkII Safari model. Hard data of how many MKII Safari rifles were produced during 2022 is unknown, but we DO know Browning has not and will not produce the MKII SARARI again. Consequently, THIS BAR MKII SAFARI is unique in that it was produced with all the old but first class characteristic as of the original MKII SAFARI, but with the all the modern advances in the Browning Viana plant. (*These were assembled in Portugal with Belgium-made parts.) Leave it to Browning to spit out a hunting rifle fit for the woods, but elegant enough to be safe queen as well. THIS rifle comes with the ORIGINAL BOX and paperwork, and is almost MINT condition. *PLEASE EXAMINE THE LAST TWO PHOTOS. We did our best to capture the only super minor marks on this rifle...two hard-to-notice- marks on the receiver itself. *We have listed the startingcompetitively because a Pachmayer recoil pad has been professionally installed. We believe this rifle has NOT been fired. The bore is clean and perfect, the bluing is unflawed, and the wood has wonderful straight walnut grains with Browning‚s classy and classic high gloss finish. with confidence. This is a beautiful Browning. You will not be disappointed.
