Description:
A wonderful sideplated boxlock by Masquelier of Liege Belgium. This gun, a 16ga built with 28-1/4" barrels. Splinter forend is nicely checkered with Anson type pushbutton release. Casehardened sideplated receiver is very nicely game scene engraved as seen in the photos. Gun built with sideclips, double triggers, auto ejectors. Straight grip buttstock is very nicely figured and terminates with a nicely checkered butt.
Gun remains in beautiful overall condition with 98% barrel blue remaining. Case colors are rich and more than 90% remain. Stocks are excellent and retain nearly all of their professionally restored finishes. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are perfect.
This is a really fine 16ga made by one of the great makers in Belguim. Ready to be field used and would be well suited in a fine gun room! This gun is priced at $3195 plus shipping to your FFL.
