Winchester 52E Heavy Barrel Match Rifle
The Winchester Model 52 match rifle is considered among the most accurate .22 rifles ever made and is viewed by many as the "gold standard" for bolt action rimfire rifles. The Winchester 52E is the last and most refined version of the legendary Winchester 52 target rifle line (Models 52A, B, C, D, and E). In contrast to the initial 52E version that was produced, the last and most refined final 52E version has a drilled and tapped receiver to accept modern scope mounts, a flat turned down bolt handle to accommodate larger diameter scopes, a recessed front-end muzzle crown to protect critical end rifling, and the latest most advanced Winchester "Micro-Motion" match trigger.
This rifle has been stored and maintained in my personal gun safe for over 45 years, and the gun is in like new, pristine condition. The gun has no marks either on the wood or metal, and the bore is clean and bright with sharp rifling. It is very rare to find a Winchester Model 52E available for sale, especially one in like new, perfect condition. This rifle must be shipped to a licensed FFl dealer and will be properly packaged to protect the gun in transit. The purchase includes a 3-day inspection period where buyer pays for return shipping.
