The Taurus PT-22 is a sub-compact, semi-automatic pocket pistol chambered in .22 Long Rifle. Designed for deep concealment and ease of use, it is famously known for its tip-up barrel design. While it shares a silhouette similar to the Beretta 21A, the PT-22 utilizes a different internal action. The manual and experts specify that the PT-22 is designed for standard or high-velocity ammunition only; hyper-velocity rounds (like CCI Stingers) are not recommended and may damage the firearm.
