Often referred to as the "Rolls-Royce of revolvers," the Colt Python with a 6-inch barrel is the definitive configuration of this iconic firearm. Known for its hand-fitted action and exceptional accuracy, it was produced in its original run from 1955 to 2005, with a highly successful "New Generation" relaunch in 2020. Original Pythons featured a tapered bore, which was slightly tighter at the muzzle to increase accuracy.
