Description:
This 1981 Pre-Ban Heckler & Koch (HK) 91 is a civilian version of the German military G3 rifle chambered in 308 Winchester and 7.62x51Nato. Its a roller delayed blowback action. The HK 91 was introduced to the U.S. market in the 1970s. The left side of the magwell is marked, "HK 91 A 03228" with a Nitro Eagle and Ulm Antler Proof and a Date code "IB". The right side of the magwell is marked, "Made in Germany / HK Inc. / Arl. Va. 22 201 / Cal. .308". The top of the charging handle is marked, "1IB". The rear left side of the forend is marked, "1 1B" . The left side of the buttstock in the sling well is marked, "41A". The front sight is a hooded post. The rear sight is an adjustable diopter drum marked 2 3 4. The top of the receiver has claw mounts for a scope. The stock set is a three piece black polymer with a triangular G3 forend, finger grooved pistol grip, and drop comb stock, sling mounts, and serrated hard recoil pad. Comes with two aluminum HK magazines marked "G3 HK / 1/70" and the second marked "G3 HK / 7/63". The third Hk magane is an unmarked steel body. 7.62mm NATO/.308
