Description:
We recently received a beautiful Savage 99 MFG 1949 and chambered 300 Savage (also have 100rds available for additional shipping). This rifle was in a private collectors’ hands for 63 years lived as a safe queen for the entire time. Although this rifle has been fired it was not fired during the 63 years in the 2nd owner’s collection…looking at the bolt/receiver area it looks new so expected to be a very low round count rifle. The rifle is not tapped for a scope (too early in MFG) but does have ability to add a Savage peep sight. It could be tapped but stamping is on the receiver where the tap would occur (We will not tap the rifle that would be something buyer would need to do but value would be greatly affected). If you are a 99 purist this would be a perfect collector so don’t wait long. We accept CC's (Add 4% to sale) Personal Checks/Money Orders (will hold until funds are verified).
