Description:
Available for sale is a Very Nice condition Remington Model 760 Gamemaster Pump-Action rifle in .300 Savage caliber.
This Remington rifle was manufactured in 1953, and looks very nice for its 73-year old age.
The wood shows a few nicks but the original finish is still intact and looks quite strong.
The metal blue finish is also strong....only a few minor scratches, a few specs of corrosion on receiver, but no signs of pitting corrosion anywhere.
The rifle comes with a Bausch & Lomb Balfor B scope, and it also has the original front and rear iron sights in place as well.
The rifle is also equipped with front and rear sling swivels. The bore is a beautiful bright and shiny bore, and sports very strong lands and grooves.
You can tell by the overall bore condition; this rifle has not been fired much in its lifetime.
Also included is a Test target showing a nice grouping at 100 yards in 2018 using Hornady 150 Grain SST ammo. Other than the sighting in of the rifle in 2018, this rifle had not been fired in the last 30 years as it came from an estate of a Texas Deer Hunter.
